Guests are invited to arrive beginning at 4:00 PM to enjoy refreshments and live prelude music before the ceremony begins at 4:30 PM. Some of our favorite music of the day happens before the ceremony, so we hope you'll join us from the very beginning.

Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors on the Patio, adjacent to the barn. If conditions require us to move indoors, the ceremony will be held in the Great Hall at The Historic Wakefield Barn. Final details will be shared closer to the wedding.

To help us plan accurately and comfortably accommodate everyone, only guests specifically listed on the invitation and RSVP are invited to attend.

While we love your little adventurers, this celebration is primarily intended for adults. Children specifically included on the invitation are warmly welcome.

Passed hors d'oeuvres will be served during cocktail hour, followed by a family-style barbecue dinner and wedding cake for dessert. Beer, wine, cocktails, and a variety of non-alcoholic options will be available throughout the evening.

Absolutely. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions, food allergies, or other dietary needs when submitting your RSVP. If you're wondering what to do at the barbecue if you're vegan, we've got you covered.

Oh yes! There will be plenty of opportunities to dance throughout the evening, but there's no wrong way to enjoy the reception. Guests will also find games, conversation, and other activities beyond the dance floor.
